Sri-Lankan born Tamara Gomez graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1997 with a Masters in Goldsmithing and Jewellery
She immediately set up Tamara Gomez Jewellery in London and began to design and manufacture her collections of contemporary jewellery using sterling silver, gold, platinum and gemstones
Using a combination of traditional goldsmithing techniques and CAD/CAM, Tamara’s work is elegant and enduring in style and intuitive by design.
Unusual cuts or types of gemstones such as rough diamonds and diamond beads are sometimes used for interest and colour.
Tamara’s work has been sold in Whistles, The Tate Modern and The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, to Sazaby in Japan, as well as exhibiting and selling through shows such as Dazzle, Chelsea Crafts Fair and Origin
Tamara is currently based at Cockpit Studio’s Holborn, London where you can see her current collection or discuss a commission, by appointment.
